0 R I G I N A L 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13473 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO <br /> (2) COMPACT PICKUP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br />the purchase of two (2) compact pickup trucks for the Departments of <br />Community Development and Parks, Recreations and Community Services of <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, S & C Ford, Inc. of San Francisco, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of S & C Ford, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of S & C Ford, Inc., in the total amount of Twenty-six <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-seven and 76/100 Dollars ($26,737.76), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated September 17, 1998 <br />for the sale of two (2) compact pickup trucks, which bid is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br />is hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br />lowest responsible bidder for the sale of said vehicles to the City. <br /> <br />Reso-514 <br />DES:djk <br />G:lSharediSharedlRedwcodlCoundl <br />09~24/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
