<br />SWC'~jk 2/18/87 (#19) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.10438 <br /> <br />MAR ~ 1987 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE; <br />AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ISSUE EIGHT ADDITIONAL <br />TAXICAB PERMITS PURSUANT THERETO, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN <br />CONDITIONS (ROHRBACH/BOUMIS BAY AREA CAB LEASING <br />COMPANY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10136, adopted February <br /> <br />10, 1986, the City Council granted a Certificate of Public <br /> <br />Convenience to Ken M. Rohrbach and Sharon Boumis as new owners of <br /> <br />Checker Yellow Cab Company of Redwood City, dba "Bay Area Cab <br /> <br />Leasing Company - Checker Yellow Cab Company of Redwood City"; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Certificate of Public Convenience, <br /> <br />this Council authorized the City Clerk to issue to the aforesaid <br /> <br />Ken M. Rohrbach and Sharon Boumis, dba Bay Area Cab Leasing <br /> <br />Company <br /> <br />Checker Yellow Cab Company of Redwood City, nine <br /> <br />permits for taxicab operations in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 33 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, and <br /> <br />upon consideration of the aforesaid application, and upon public <br /> <br />testimony having been presented therefor, finds that the public <br /> <br />convenience and necessity will be served by amending the <br /> <br />aforesaid Certificate of Public Convenience to permit the <br /> <br />permittees to operate an additional eight taxicabs in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1 0 43 8 <br />
