<br />SWC:djc 8/6/86 <br /> <br />SEP 8 1986 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 10:-l~1 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT OF NON-EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT <br />AND QUITCLAIM DEED FOR LEVEE AND PUBLIC ACCESS <br />PURPOSES; AND SUMNARILY VACATING PORTIONS OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE EASEMENT FOR LEVEE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />PART 3, CHAPTER 4 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br />CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Chapter 4 of <br /> <br />Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br /> <br />California, (commencing with ~8300) the legislative body of a <br /> <br />local agency may summarily vacate a public service easement if <br /> <br />such easement has been superseded by relocation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood Shores, Inc., a California corporation <br /> <br />( " RS I " ) <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Campeau <br /> <br />Corporation <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />corporation ("Campeau") have offered to the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />("Ci ty") for acceptance public service easements for levee and <br /> <br />public access purposes which would, upon acceptance thereof, <br /> <br />supersede by relocation portions of the existing public service <br /> <br />easement previously granted to the City for levee purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to accept such <br /> <br />easements from RSI and Campeau and to summarily vacate such <br /> <br />portions of the existing levee easement which is thereby <br /> <br />superseded by such relocated easements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
