8/18/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13410 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO 561- <br /> 563 DOUGLAS AVENUE; APPROVING CONTRACT <br /> DOCUMENTS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING REALLOCATION OF <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO PAY <br /> FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, contract documents for the improvements to 561-563 <br />Douglas Avenue, in the City of Redwood City, have been presented to, and <br />reviewed by this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, on June 24, 1998, the City Clerk advertised for bids for <br />Improvements to property located at 561-563 Douglas Avenue, Redwood City, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CMS Construction of Burlingame, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to CMS Construction; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-561-563 1 <br />08/10/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
