<br />ORIG~~~;\L <br /> <br />LICENSE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT ("Agreement" or "License") shall be effective on and is entered into <br /> <br /> <br />as ofk.euA9' dV, 200.2, by and between: The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br /> <br />California hereinafter referred to as "Licensor", and Tarboosh Restaurant, hereinafter referred to as <br /> <br />"Licensee". <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. WHEREAS, Licensor has a license to use and occupy a portion of the property at 855 <br /> <br />Jefferson Avenue, Redwood City, CA, APN 053-131-190, more particularly described and shown on <br /> <br />Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference (the "Licensor's Property Interest"), <br /> <br />hereinafter known as the "Paseo". <br /> <br />~n <br />B. WHEREAS, Licensee located at ~tfft/&)'1 wishes to obtain a license to use a 2,000 <br /> <br />square foot portion of the Paseo immediately adjacent tel its restaurant (the "Premises") for a dining area. <br />I <br /> <br />The Premises are more accurately described and ~epicted on Exhibit "B", attached hereto and <br /> <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />C. WHEREAS, Licensee has obtained a consent letter from the [owner adjacent to the <br /> <br />property] to use the easement adjacent to their property Fis a means of ingress and egress for Licensee's <br /> <br />operations. <br />D. WHEREAS, Licensor and Licensee wis~ to enter into an agreement for the use of the <br /> <br />Premises by Licensee, its agents, customers, contractor~, and assignees. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as followl <br />1. GRANT OF LICENSE. <br /> <br />I <br />1.1 Licensor hereby grants to Licetsee a revocable license for exclusive use of the <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Premises, subject to the agreements, conditions and *ovisions set forth in this Agreement.
