0 R I G I N A L 10/27/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13225 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE ALHAMBRA OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY-HISTORICAL THEATER AND BALLROOM, 831 MAIN <br /> STREET, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, AS A HISTORIC <br /> LANDMARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 40.7 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City the Historic Resources Advisory Committee presented an application, with <br />supporting documentation, to the Planning Commission requesting the <br />designation of the hereinafter described property as a historic landmark; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, having reviewed said application <br />and documentation, and having held a duly noticed public hearing on the <br />application, has recommended that the following real property and improvements <br />(more particularly described in Exhibit A hereof) be designated as a historic <br />landmark: <br /> <br /> "The Alhambra of Redwood City-Historical Theater and Ballroom" <br /> Location - 831 Main Street; being Lot 26 Main St. Lots, Map of <br /> Mezesvile, and Lot 17, Block 17 Sweeneys Addition. RSM 1/79 & 2/79; <br /> APN 053-233-230; <br /> "CBR" (Central Business Retail) Zoning District. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 40.7 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> City, on October 27, 1997 this Council held a duly noticed public hearing on the <br /> <br /> designation of the above-referenced property as a historic landmark; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Reso-318 1 <br /> F:~shared\redwood\council <br /> DES:djk <br /> 10/16/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
