<br />CGM:djg-c 9/20/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9452 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 2 6 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER <br />TRANSMISSION MAIN - TWIN DOLPHIN DRIVE PHASE V; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS (G.I.D. 1-64) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9388 adopted July 11, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br /> <br />the Water Transmission Main - Twin Dolphin Drive Phase V in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Detrick Corporation, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award the bid to said Detrick Corporation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Detrick Corporation in the sum of One Hundred <br /> <br />Ninety-seven Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-one and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($197,841.00) for the base bid and the additive alternate in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal, for construction of Water <br /> <br />Transmission Main - Twin Dolphin Drive Phase V, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />for and on behalf of Redwood City General Improvement District <br /> <br />No. 1-64 and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />9 45~ <br />
