0 R I G I N A L 9/8/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13192 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br /> SAN CARLOS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF <br /> VETERANS BOULEVARD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has approved an agreement, <br />evidenced by Resolution No. 13103, with the City of San Carlos (the <br />"Administration Agreement") for the administration of planning, zoning, building <br />regulations, emergency services and other municipal services, in connection with <br />the development of a site located within the city limits of the City of San Carlos <br />and city limits of the City of Redwood City, respectively, and formerly known as <br />the Circle Star Theater (the "Site"); and <br /> WHEREAS, in furtherance of the Administration Agreement, the City of <br /> San Carlos and the City of Redwood City intend to improve a portion of Veterans <br /> Boulevard (the "Project") between State Highway 101 and the Site; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Project consists of the installation of surface drainage <br /> improvements, traffic striping, roadway improvement work, landscaping and <br /> irrigation systems (the "Improvements") within the Cities of San Carlos and <br /> Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Carlos proposes to be the lead agency in <br /> connection with the construction of the Improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Carlos has entered into an agreement with a <br /> contractor pursuant to public bidding for the construction of the Improvements; <br /> and <br /> <br /> Reso-278 1 <br /> F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> FXS:/fs <br /> 08/23/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
