<br />SJ&C:rb 7/22/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9395 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 2 5 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR TREE REMOVAL AND TREE <br />PRUNING, 1983-84; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9385 adopted June 27, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for Tree Removal and Tree <br /> <br />Pruning 1983-84; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, James R. Cox, dba J. Cox Tree & Landscape Service, <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and <br /> <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to award bid to <br /> <br />said James R. Cox; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of James R. Cox, dba J. Cox Tree and Landscape <br /> <br />Service in the sum of Sixty-eight and No/100 Dollars ($68.00) <br /> <br />per hour for a total not to exceed Fifty Thousand and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($60,000.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated July 12, 1983, for Tree Removal and Tree Pruning <br /> <br />1982-83, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />939 s <br />
