0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13149 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE <br /> OF ONE PARKING ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE UNDER THE <br /> COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF <br /> DALY CITY'S BID SPECIFICATIONS NO. 97-017 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br />the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br />on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Daly City's Bid Specifications No. 97-017 includes <br />a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies the <br />opportunity to purchase parking enforcement vehicles from Municipal <br />Maintenance Equipment, Inc.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Daly City conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase one <br />(1) parking enforcement vehicle from Municipal Maintenance Equipment, Inc. <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of Daly City's Bid <br />Specifications No. 97-017; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-264 <br />DES:djk <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />08/07/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
