<br />SMC:eg <br /> <br />5/9/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9348 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 1 6 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING <br />OF MISCELLANEOUS TRUCKS, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9327, adopted <br /> <br />April 4, 1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing <br /> <br />of one-l ton dump truck; one 3/4 ton pickup truck with special <br /> <br />body, and four compact pickup trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for <br /> <br />the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> <br />ment, and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />South Bay Ford Truck Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Sixty-four Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-four and 89/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($64,864.89), for the furnishing of one 1 ton dump truck; <br /> <br />one 3/4 ton pickup with special body, plus 6.9 liter diesel option; <br /> <br />and four compact pickup trucks, in accordance with the specifica- <br /> <br />tions therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />q ..f' (} <br />-., I i""\ <br />~._J' :_-~':: Cl <br />
