<br />CGM:mf 6/4/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9135 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 7 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF STREET <br />LIGHTING PROJECT - TWIN DOLPHIN DRIVE - PHASE I - <br />(REDWOOD SHORES); REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9097, adopted April <br /> <br />19, 1982, this Council approved plans and specifications for the <br /> <br />street lighting project for Twin Dolphin Drive - Phase I - <br /> <br />(Redwood Shores) and directed the City Clerk to call for bids <br /> <br />therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Coast Electric Company, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Coast Electric <br /> <br />Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Coast Electric Company in the amount of <br /> <br />Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred and No/ 100 Dollars ($16,300.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with such bidder's proposal, for the <br /> <br />street lighting project for Twin Dolphin Drive - Phase I <br /> <br />(Redwood Shores), is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />Paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />9135 <br />
