<br />CGM:mf 4/1/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9086 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 5 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />THREE REPLACEMENT POLICE PATROL VEHICLES; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 9058, <br /> <br />adopted February 22, 1982, the City Clerk has advertised for <br /> <br />the furnishing of three (3) replacement police patrol vehicles <br /> <br />of City to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />lS the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of E-Z Davies Chevrolet, in the total lump <br /> <br />sum amount of Thirty-one Thousand Two Hundred and 33/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($31,200.33) for the furnishing of three (3) replacement police <br /> <br />patrol vehicles in accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated <br /> <br />March 24, 1982, in accordance with the specifications therefor <br /> <br />on file in the office of the Director of Finance, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with E-Z Davies Chevrolet for the furnishing of <br /> <br />the above mentioned equipment in accordance with, and <br /> <br />subject to, the terms and conditions of the aforementioned <br /> <br />specifications and in accordance with the aforementioned <br /> <br />bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />3. Any informalities In the bid mentioned in paragraph <br /> <br />1 hereof is waived. <br /> <br />4.
