0 R I G I N A L 5/12/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13073 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> POLICE UNIFORMS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of police uniforms for the Police Department of the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Bricker-Mincolla Uniforms of Redwood City, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Bricker-Mincolla Uniforms; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Bricker-Mincolla Uniforms, in the total amount of Eighty-one <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty and 45/100 Dollars ($81,850.45), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated April 30, 1997 for the sale of <br />police uniforms, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />the sale of said uniforms to the City. <br /> <br />Reso-197 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F :lSharedlRedwoodlCouncil <br />05/07/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
