- 0 R I G I N A L 4/7/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13044 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIRE <br /> APPARATUS EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the pumhase of sixty-three (63) items of fire apparatus equipment for the Fire <br />Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication four (4) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Ali-Star Fire Equipment, of Baldwin Park, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Ali-Star Fire Equipment; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Ali-Star Fire Equipment in the total amount of Twenty-One <br />Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-Seven and 22/100 Dollars ($21,527.22), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated February 24, 1997, <br />for the sale of sixty-three (63) items of fire apparatus equipment, which bid is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the sale of said computers to the <br />City. <br /> <br />Reso-160 1 <br />F:Shared~Shared~Council\Reso <br />FXS:mge <br />o3/10/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
