II. <br /> <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L ;27/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12990 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SANDPIPER PARK <br /> SITE DEVELOPMENT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12964, December 9, 1996, the <br /> <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Sandpiper Park Site Development in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, nine bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, B & B Concrete Construction Company, Inc. of San Jose, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to B & B Concrete Construction Company, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of B & B Concrete Construction Company, Inc., in the amount <br /> <br />of One Million Eight Hundred Fifty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Ninety and <br />No/100 Dollars ($1,859,290.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br />dated January 8, 1997 for the Sandpiper Park Site Development, is hereby <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement" (form dated 01/09/97) by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />Reso-123 <br />G:~shared",Redwoo~Council <br />DES:djk <br /> 01/09/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
