0 R I G I N A L 10/7/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12932 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC <br /> INTEREST REQUIRES AMENDMENT TO CERTAIN <br /> TERMS OF UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. <br /> 1994-1; AND STATING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR <br /> HEARING OBJECTIONS THERETO <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2084 entitled, "ORDINANCE <br />ESTABLISHING AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT IN A PORTION OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; DESIGNATING SAID DISTRICT AS <br />UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1994-1; DESCRIBING THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF SAID DISTRICT; ESTABLISHING WHAT UTILITY <br />FACILITIES WILL BE MAINTAINED ABOVE GROUND; AND ESTABLISHING <br />THE TIME BY WHICH POLES AND OVERHEAD WIRES SHALL BE REMOVED <br />AND UNDERGROUND SERVICE PROVIDED", said Underground Utility District <br />1994-1 (the "District") was established; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain amendments to the terms governing the District are <br /> required to provide for the extension of time within which to complete the work of <br /> improvement, to accommodate installation of underground service for single <br /> family residential properties, and to provide that the cost of certain residential <br /> undergrounding shall be provided by the underground conversion allocation <br /> established by decision by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of <br /> California; and <br /> <br /> <br />
