DES:dj~ 08/13/96 (037/42) <br /> o R I G I N A L 8/26/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12852 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATING <br /> TO THE INSTALLATION OF RUBBERIZED RAILROAD CROSSINGS <br /> <br /> (MARK THOMAS & CO., INC.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City in cooperation with the <br />State of California and the Cities of Menlo Park, Burlingame and <br />San Mateo (the "Associated Agencies") proposes to install <br />rubberized railroad crossings at various locations within the <br />Caltrain Corridor in San Mateo County (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding for the Project shall be provided by the <br />City of Redwood City and the Associated Agencies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, this City, as lead <br />agency for the Project, requires professional consulting <br />engineering services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mark Thomas & Co., Inc. of Redwood City, California <br />represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br />expertise to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br />Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Consulting <br />Engineering Services - For Installation of Rubberized Railroad <br />Crossings at Various Locations Along the Caltrain Corridor Within <br />San Mateo County" (form dated 08/13/96), by and between the City <br /> <br /> <br />
