AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />SEQUOIA UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, REDWOOD CITY 2020 AND CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY ACTING AS FISCAL AGENT FOR REDWOOD CITY 2020 <br />For the 2018-2019 School Year <br />This AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the day of <br />_ 2019 by and between Sequoia Union High School District ("SUNS ), <br />REDWOOD CITY 2020 (a collaboration comprised of eight partners, including City of <br />Redwood City, Redwood City Elementary School District, Sequoia Union High School <br />District, County of San Mateo (Health System and Human Service Agency), Sequoia <br />Healthcare District, The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University — <br />Stanford University, Kaiser Permanente, and Cafiada College) and CITY OF REDWOOD <br />("City") Acting as Fiscal Agent for Redwood City 2020. Collectively SUHSD, Redwood <br />City 2020, and City are hereinafter referred to as the "Parties." <br />SUBJECT: Redwood City 2020's partial funding of the Director position at <br />SUHSD's Sequoia Teen Resource Center in the Amount of Twenty -Three Thousand <br />Dollars ($23,000). <br />RECITALS <br />A. Redwood City 2020 is a Community Collaborative that coordinates the <br />delivery of services to children, youth and families living in the City of Redwood City and <br />North Fair Oaks, an unincorporated area adjacent to Redwood City. Redwood City 2020 <br />is made up of eight partners, including City of Redwood City, Redwood City Elementary <br />School District, Sequoia Union High School District, County of San Mateo (Health <br />System and Human Service Agency), Sequoia Healthcare District, The Board of <br />Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University — Stanford University, Kaiser <br />Permanente, and Canada College to provide leadership and oversight necessary to <br />develop a coordinated approach to strengthen academic and social outcomes for <br />children and youth living within the attendance area of the Redwood City School District <br />and provide valuable resources to families so they can be successful primary caregivers <br />to their children. <br />B. City serves as fiscal agent for Redwood City 2020 and as such contracts <br />for services required by Redwood City 2020. <br />C. Redwood City 2020 desires to provide Twenty Three Thousand Dollars <br />($23,000) to partially fund the Director position at SUHSD's Sequoia Teen Resource <br />Center ("STRC"). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br />ARTICLE I - BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES <br />SUHSD seeks funding from Redwood City 2020 to partially fund the Director <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />REV: 04-11-19 RL <br />ATTY/AGR.2019.093/SUSHD Teen Resource Center Director <br />
