- o R i c i N A <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12845 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR HYDRAULIC OVERHAUL <br /> REPAIR OF 100' AERIAL LADDER TRUCK AND LADDER <br /> MODIFICATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Code Section <br />2.76 this Council has suspended by motion the requirements of Article VII <br />("Purchasing") of Chapter 2 of said Code relating to bidding requirements for <br />purchase of supplies and materials with respect to the provision of repairs and <br />materials for an aerial ladder truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, two proposals have been received from Russett Diesel Service of <br />Fremont, California for the hydraulic overhaul of said aerial ladder truck in the <br />amount of Thirty-one Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-six and No/100 Dollars <br />($31,866.00) and from AIIstar Fire Equipment Inc. of Baldwin, California for said <br />aerial ladder modification in the amount of Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred <br />Eighty-two and 54/100 Dollars ($11,782.54); <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby confirms that, pursuant to the provisions of <br />Redwood City Code Section 2.76 the bidding requirements of Article VII <br />(Purchasing) of Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City have been <br />suspended with respect to the hereinafter described purchase on the ground that <br />the materials, equipment or supplies to be purchased are of a unique nature and <br /> <br /> <br />
