07/09/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15206 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br /> TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATION OF POLICE LIEUTENANT <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the position of Police <br /> Lieutenant be established; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the position should be created to support <br /> police operations according to the needs of the organization; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications of Police Lieutenant were prepared <br /> by the Human Resources Department and the City Manager to ensure the foreseeable <br /> needs of the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the Police Lieutenant classification should be <br /> in the Police Sergeants Association and established with pay of $14,609 per month; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
