3/27/00 <br />0" I; I I J A L <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 13859 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR REMEDIATION AT <br />THE ROLISON ROAD HOUSING SITE AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br />(3426 -3480 ROLISON ROAD AND 1181 HAVEN AVENUE) <br />WHEREAS, written bids with public advertisement were solicited for the remediation at <br />vacant property located at 3426 -3480 Robson Road and 1181 Haven Avenue in the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received for the performance of <br />said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Controlled Environmental Services of Oakley, California, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of <br />$25,837.20. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Controlled Environmental Services dated March 22, 2000, in the amount <br />of Twenty Five Thousand, Eight Hundred Thirty Seven and 20/100 Dollars ($25,837.20), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated March 22, 2000, for the remediation at <br />seven vacant parcels located at 3426 -3480 Robson Road and 1181 Haven, in the City of <br />Redwood City, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso -849 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />R /Shared/Redwood/Council <br />03/23/00 <br />
