0 R I G I N A L 5/22/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12766 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW CITY HALL OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12720, adopted April 8, 1996, the <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Construction of the New City Hall of the City <br />of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the names of the lowest responsible bidders are listed on the <br />document entitled "New City Hall - Subcontract Bids," form dated May 22, 1996, <br />incorporated by this reference, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept said bids of the lowest responsible bidders; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bids of the lowest responsible bidders, as set forth on the <br />document entitled "New City Hall - Subcontract Bids," form dated May 22, 1996, <br />in the amount stated on said document, computed in accordance with said <br />bidders' proposals for the Construction of the New City Hall, are hereby <br />accepted, and said bidders are hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidders ("Lowest Responsible Bidders") for said work. <br /> <br /> Reso-43 <br /> G:~shared\Redwood\Council <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 05/15/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
