<br />':I <br /> <br />SVlC:mf 12/10/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8763 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />DEe 1 5 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />RESCUE VEHICLE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREE~mNT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of Chapter <br /> <br />2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has solicited bids <br /> <br />for the furnishing of a rescue vehicle to be used for municipal <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BECK FIRE APPARATUS, Cloverdale, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Beck Fire Apparatus; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Beck Fire Appartus, in the total lump sum <br /> <br />of Sixty-one Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-one and 46/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($61,531.46), for the furnishing of a rescue vehicle plus diesel <br /> <br />option in accordance with the specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the_~fllrnishing ~A5f.::: said '::.;~qu.iP1Ben t . <br /> <br />2.
