<br />CGM:djg-c 9/18/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />A 9R 0 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 26 19B1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY <br />PURPOSES IN VICINITY OF BAIR ISLAND ROAD AT BAYSHORE FREEWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing <br /> <br />at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of <br /> <br />the Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, <br /> <br />by its Resolution No. 8969, adopted September 21, 1981, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate a public utility easement, located in the <br /> <br />vicinity of Bair Island Road at Bayshore Freeway said easement lying <br /> <br />within Parcel 3 as said parcel is 'shown on that certain parcel map <br /> <br />recorded in Volume 48 of Parcels Haps at Pages 26 and 27, Records <br /> <br />of San Mateo County, and being a portion of Parcel A as shown on <br /> <br />that certain parcel map recorded in Volume 49 of Parcel ~1aps at <br /> <br />Page 75, Records of San Mateo County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice of intention to <br /> <br />vacate the abovementioned public utility easement has been published <br /> <br />and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described public utility easement is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public use. <br /> <br />2. The abovementioned easement which is to be vacated is <br /> <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />A PORTION of that certain public utility easement and proposed <br />private ingress/egress easement lying within Parcel 3 as said <br />parcel is shown on that certain Parcel Map No. 79-10, recorded <br />in Volume 48 of Parcel Maps at Pages 26 and 27, Records of <br />San Mateo County, California; said easements being also shown <br />as a portion of Parcel A of that certain Parcel Map No. 80-4, <br />recorded in Volume 49 of Parcel Maps at Page 75, Records of <br />San Mateo County, California; said portion being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />8980 <br />
