;H:djg-c 2/3/82 ORIGINAL FEB 8 1982 RESOLUTION N o. 9 0 5 ~i RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLER; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREOF WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2. 76 of the Redwood Ci ty Ccx:1.e, the City Council has suspended the purchasing requirerrents contained in Article VII of Chapter 2 of such Code for the purchase of a traffic signal controller; and vlliERE'AS, MULTISONICS, INC., Dublin, California is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equiprrent, and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to MULTISONICS, INC.; NCM, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REn\OJD CITY, AS FOLLC::WS: 1. The bid of MULTlSONICS, INC., in the total lurrp sum arrount of Six Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-eight and No/IOO Dollars ($6,758.00) for the furnishing of a traffic signal controller, in accordance with the bidder's proposal, and in accordance with the specifications therefor on file in the office of the Director of Finance, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipITeIlt. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreerrent with MULTISONICS, INC. for the furnishing of the above rrentioned equiprrent in accordance with, and subject to, the terms and conditions of the aforerrentioned specifications and in accordance with the aforerrentioned bidder's proposal. 3.
