<br />CG~ l.jg-c 9/15/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />SEP 2 0 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. <br /> <br />9227 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTP~CT FOR STREET RESURFACING <br />PROJECT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83 IN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9196 adopted August <br /> <br />23, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the Redwood City <br /> <br />Street Resurfacing Project for the fiscal year 1982-83 in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dorsa Paving, Inc., San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award bid to said Dorsa Paving, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Dorsa Paving, Inc., in the total amount of <br /> <br />One Hundred Eighty....one Thousand Three Hundred One and 72/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($181,301.72), more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated September 7, 1982, for the Redwood City Street <br /> <br />Resurfacing Project for the fiscal year 1982-83 in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, in accordance with the specifications therefor, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />9~~rl <br />
