<br />SWC:mf 3/3/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 31 5 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING AND <br />INSTALLATION OF EMERGENCY GENERATOR; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREE1-1ENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />MAR <br /> <br />7 1983 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9293, adopted January <br /> <br />24, 1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />an emergency generator for use by the Police Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing and installation of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Hyland Contractors, San Carlos, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing and installation <br /> <br />of said equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to Hyland Contractors; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Hyland Contractors in the total lump sum of <br /> <br />Twenty-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty and No/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($27,960.00), for the furnishing and installation of an emergency <br /> <br />generator, in accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated March <br /> <br />1, 1982, in accordance with the specifications therfor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing and installation of said equipment. <br /> <br />931 S <br />
