DES:d~u 04/25/96 (100/41) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 5/13/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12751 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE ROOF AND HVAC SYSTEM <br /> RETROFIT PROJECT AT THE COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES BUILDING; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12716, adopted March 25, <br />1996, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the roof and <br />heating, ventilating and air-conditioning ("HVAC") system <br />retrofit project at the Community Activities Building, Redwood <br />City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, TAG Group Corporation of San Francisco, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br />desire of this Council to accept said bid of TAG Group <br />Corporation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of TAG Group Corporation, in the amount of <br />Three Hundred Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-one and No/100 <br />Dollars ($313,231.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br />proposal dated April 17, 1996, for the roof and HVAC Retrofit <br />Project at the Community Activities Building, is hereby accepted, <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> <br />
