<br />-' :nt <br />DAS:nt <br /> <br />11/5/87 (#20) <br />11/09/87R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10677 <br /> <br />ORIGl f'~AL <br />NOV S 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SIDEWALK REPAIR AND <br />WHEELCHAIR RAMP PROJECT FISCAL YEAR 1987-88; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10614, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on August 24, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for the Sidewalk Repair and Wheelchair <br /> <br />Ramp Project - Fiscal Year 1987-88 ("project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, AMBO Engineering, Inc., Union City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to AMBO Engineering, Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said bid is well under the amount budgeted for the <br /> <br />Project and it is to the City's advantage to execute a change <br /> <br />order to increase the amount of work to be performed by AMBO <br /> <br />Engineering under said bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, AMBO Engineering agrees to said change order and <br /> <br />consents to perform the additional work under said change order; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of AMBO Engineering, Inc. in the sum of <br /> <br />Seventy Five Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-nine and 05/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($75,969.05), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />1 0 677 <br />
