<br />MJP:mro~ l2/l5/88 (#23/053) <br /> <br />DEe 1 91988 <br /> <br />N o. 1 0953 IJRfGIlVAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT IN <br />WHICH THE CITY WILL QUITCLAIM AN INTERIM ACCESS <br />EASEMENT IN RETURN FOR A PERMANENT EASEMENT AT THE <br />SANDPIPER LAGOON UNIT #1 SUBDIVISION <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 28, 1987, the City Council of Redwood <br /> <br />City approved and accepted the final map for the Sandpiper Lagoon <br /> <br />Unit #l Subdivision in Redwood City, and accepted an offer for <br /> <br />the dedication of easements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 2, 1987, the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Redwood Shores, Inc., entered into a Right of Use and License, <br /> <br />recorded July 29, 1987 as Document No. 87117985 in the official <br /> <br />Records of San Mateo County, California, through which the City <br /> <br />acquired an interim access easement that would provide temporary <br /> <br />access to a storm drain pumping station pending the construction <br /> <br />of private streets for the Sandpiper Lagoon Unit #1 Subdivision; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of private streets for Sandpiper <br /> <br />Lagoon Unit #l has now been completed, and permanent access to <br /> <br />the pump station is now available through such private streets; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to obtain a <br /> <br />permanent easement for access to the pump station through the <br /> <br />private streets of Sandpiper Lagoon Unit #l, and to relinquish <br /> <br />the temporary access easement to the Sandpiper Lagoon Homeowners <br /> <br />Association and First Southwest Diversified Partners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the value of the permanent easement for access to <br /> <br />10953 <br />
