<br />DAS:rnms 3/22/89 (#23/l00) <br /> <br />MAR 2 7 1989 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0.11 008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR INSTALLATION OF A SIX INCH <br />FIRE SERVICE LINE AT, AND STUBBING OF A SIX INCH CITY <br />WATER MAIN LINE PRESENTLY SERVING, 3536 HAVEN AVENUE; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.65 the City <br /> <br />Manager solicited written bids for installation of a six inch <br /> <br />fire service line at, and stubbing of a six inch City water main <br /> <br />line presently serving, 3536 Haven Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, four bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, West Valley Construction Company, <br /> <br />San Jose, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to West <br /> <br />Valley Construction Company. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. The bid of West Valley Construction Company, in the sum <br /> <br />of Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($15,600.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated December 1, <br /> <br />1988, for installation of a six inch fire service line at, and <br /> <br />stubbing of a six inch City water main line presently serving, <br /> <br />3536 Haven Avenue, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />bid for said work. <br /> <br />2.
