06/11/2018 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2446 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING SECTION 20.96 OF DIVISION 1 OF ARTICLE VII OF <br />CHAPTER 20 OF THE CITY CODE OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br />PARKING <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Purpose. <br />A. Instituting a two-hour time limit along Middlefield Road and Chestnut Street <br />frontages of 1698 Middlefield Road will accommodate Jardin De Ninos Park visitors <br />while discouraging long-term parking during the day; and <br />B. This ordinance is adopted in accordance with Chapter 9 (Stopping, Standing, <br />and Parking) of Division 11 of the California Vehicle Code. <br />Section 2. The Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby amended as shown in <br />the following Sections by adding the text shown in underlined italics (example) and <br />deleting the text shown in strikeout (ex -ample). Sections 1 and 2, and text in brackets, <br />[example] are informational only and need not be published in the Municipal Code. <br />Section 3. Chapter 20, Article VI I, Division 1, Section 20.96 of the Redwood City <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 20.96. - PARKING TIME LIMITED ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS <br />DURING CERTAIN DESIGNATED PERIODS: <br />When signs are erected giving notice thereof, parking shall be limited as specified in the <br />table below.
