<br /> DES:dft 1'/5/93 (014/11) <br /> o RIG I N A L - ~4/93R <br /> 6/14/93 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2061 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER HEADING OF, AND ADDING <br />ARTICLES I (COMPRISED OF AMENDED SECTIONS 17.1 - <br />17.5), AND II TO CHAPTER 17 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO INTERFERENCE WITH <br />ACCESS TO ANY LAWFUL BUSINESS AND PROTECTION <br />AGAINST IMPEDING ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE FACILITIES, <br />RESPECTIVELY <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The chapter heading of Chapter 17 of the Code of <br />the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "CHAPTER 17. <br />"Interference With Access to Any Lawful Business <br />and Protection Against Impeding Access to Health <br />Care Facilities". <br />SECTION 2. Article I (comprised of amended §§17.1 - 17.5) <br />is hereby added to Chapter 17 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City to read as follows: <br /> "ARTICLE I. <br />INTERFERENCE WITH ACCESS TO, OR THE <br /> OPERATION OF, ANY LAWFUL BUSINESS <br />"Section 17.1. Definitions. For the purposes of this <br />Article, the following terms are defined as herein set <br />forth: <br />Business - means any person, firm, association, <br />partnership, business trust, corporation, company <br />or other organization which lawfully provides or <br />makes available goods or services to members of <br />the public, including entities organized for <br />profit, nonprofit or charitable entities or <br />governmental entities. <br />. <br />
