tf'll'\ r\l JUN 27 1983 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.3 AND DELETING SECTION 9.119 OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE, RELATING TO ENFORCEMENT THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 9.3 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 9.3 Violations and Penalties "(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure in the city or cause the same to be done contrary to or in viola- tion of any code provision as adopted by this chap

Section 9.3 of the Redwood City Code is <br /> <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 9.3 Violations and Penalties <br /> <br />"(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, <br />construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, <br />remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy or <br />maintain any building or structure in the city or <br />cause the same to be done contrary to or in viola- <br />tion of any code provision as adopted by this chap- <br />ter or any amendment thereto as adopted by this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />" (b) Any person, firm or corporation whether as <br />principal, agent, employee, or otherwise, who shall <br />violate or cause the violation of any of the provi- <br />sions of the codes or amendments adopted by this <br />chapter, or fail to comply with any order, license, <br />or permit made or issued thereunder, or who shall <br />build or install in violation of any detailed state- <br />ment of specifications or plans submitted and ap- <br />proved thereunder and from which no appeal has been <br />taken, or who shall fail to comply with such an <br />order, license, or permit as affirmed or modified <br />by the councilor by a court of competent jurisdic- <br />tion within the time fixed therein, shall severally, <br />for each and every such violation and noncompliance, <br />respectively, be guilty of an infraction and, upon <br />conviction thereof, shall be punishable by: <br /> <br />(1) A fine not exceeding fifty dollars <br />($50.00) for a first violation; <br /> <br />(2) A fine not exceeding one hundred dollars <br />($100.00) for a second violation of the same <br />provisions within one year; <br /> <br />(3) A fine not exceeding two hundred fifty <br />dollars ($250.00) for each additional viola- <br />tion of the same provision within one year. <br /> <br /> <br />1 869 <br />
