<br /> DAS:sh 2/6/85 <br /> 1929 ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1929 <br /> <br /> --------- - - MAR ;¿ 4 1986 <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND ADDING ARTICLE II <br />OF CHAPTER 12 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION; AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE <br />THE "UNIFORM FIRE CODE, 1985 EDITION," AS PUBLISHED BY <br />THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS AND <br />THE WESTERN FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Article II (commencing at 12.7) of Chapter 12 of <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. <br /> ~ <br />SECTION 2. Article II (commencing at 12.7) is hereby added <br />to Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as <br />follows: <br /> "ARTICLE II <br /> "FIRE PREVENTION CODE <br /> "Section 12.7. (a) Pursuant to Sections 50022.1, et <br />seq. , of the California Government Code and Section 15 of <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the 'Uniform Fire <br />Code, 1985 Edition' (including Appendix Chapters I, II, III, <br />and IV) , as published by the International Conference of <br />Building Officials and the Western Fire Chiefs Association, <br />is hereby adopted and shall be in effect within the City of <br />Redwood City to the same extent as if set out in full <br />herein, except as expressly amended by the provisions of <br />this article. <br /> " (b) In the event of any conflict between the <br />provisions of the Uniform Fire Code, 1985 Edition, <br />hereinafter 'Fire Code' , the provisions of this article, <br />shall govern. <br /> 1929 <br />
