--0 R I G I N A L T2/19/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12655 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO - <br /> STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo <br />County (C/CAG), the County of San Mateo and incorporated cities in San Mateo <br />County, as co-permittees, were issued a National Pollutant Discharge <br />Elimination System Permit for the discharge of storm water to San Francisco Bay <br />and the Pacific Ocean on September 14, 1993, NPDES Permit No. <br />CA0029921); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, NPDES Permit No. CA0029921 requires the implementation <br />of the "San Mateo County Storm Water Management Plan 1993 - 1998," dated <br />June 18, 1993; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Storm Water Management Plan requires that the City <br />develop and implement a program to inspect commemial and industrial facilities <br />throughout the City for compliance with the NPDES permit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has authority to control the <br />discharge of surface waters from its jurisdiction; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is authorized by Section 51300, et seq. of the <br />Government Code of the State of California to contract for the implementation of <br /> <br />RES0-7 1 <br />FXS:rg <br />10/30/95 <br /> <br /> <br />
