FXS:dft ~/5/94 (054/38) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 5/15/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12464 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSOLIDATED PLAN AND APPLICATION <br /> FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br /> GRANT); CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY HAS FOLLOWED ITS <br /> ADOPTED CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION AND FILING OF ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING <br /> THERETO (FISCAL YEAR 1995-96) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant Program <br />authorized pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community <br />Development Act of 1974, (P.L. 93-383), as amended ("the Act"), <br /> <br />requires that jurisdictions receiving federal funds develop a <br />Consolidated Plan and provide for the issuance of grants in order <br />to attain the objective of the development of viable urban <br />communities, by providing decent housing and a suitable living <br />environment and expanding economic opportunities, principally for <br />persons of low or moderate income; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br />Council, a Consolidated Plan and an application to the United <br />States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a <br />Community Development Block Grant in the amount of approximately <br />One Million Nine and No/100 Dollars ($1,000,009.00) for the <br />period of July 1, 1995, through June 30, 1996~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been prepared by the Director of <br /> Community Development a Notice of Determination, determining that <br /> the proposed Community Development Block Grant Program and <br /> approval of the Consolidated Plan, as set forth in the aforesaid <br /> application, is exempt from the requirements of NEPA and CEQA as <br /> a ministerial project and does not have a significant effect on <br /> the environment, and a notice of such determination filed with <br /> the County Clerk of San Mateo County; and <br /> <br /> <br />
