P- 1417 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR YACHT HARBOR DOCKS A, B, <br />C, D AND E RAMPS AND ENTRANCE REPLACEMENT PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT, FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Resolution No. <br /> <br />P-1415, <br /> <br />adopted <br /> <br />November 24, 1993, the Port Manager advertised for bids for the <br /> <br />Yacht Harbor Docks A, B, C, D & E Ramps and Entrance Replacement <br /> <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two (2) bids were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the Port <br /> <br />Ivlanager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Haviside-Heastings, Inc. of San Mateo, California <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Commission <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />award <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Haviside-Heastings, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Haviside-Heastings, Inc., consisting of the <br /> <br />bid designated "Proposal", Items 1-10 a.nd 12, in the amount of <br /> <br />One Hundred.
