CGM:mf 3/9/81 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 8823 ORIGINAL MAR 2 3 1981 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ASSIGNMENT OF THE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUBDIVIDER OF PARCEL MAP NO. 80-5 SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, pursuant to Resoiliution No. 8690, adopted September 8, 1980, conditioned the release of Parcel Map No. 80-5 upon the execution of a subdivision improvement agreement by the subdivider (Ann Preston) which agreement was subsequently assigned to James C. Mengel, pursuant to Resolution No. 8722, adopted October 27, 1980; and WHEREAS, the assignee of this agreement has requested that the City approve an assignment to Dennis L. Hines and Denise H. Hines of all of his rights and responsibilities pursuant to the aforementioned assignment; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is willing to approve a new assignment to Dennis L. Hines and Denise H. Hines and to authorize the execution of such assignment with them for the I improvement of Parcel Map 80-5 Subdivision; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: This Council hereby approves the assignment to Dennis L. Hines and Denise H. Hines of all rights and responsibilities previously given to James C. Mengel pursuant to Resolution No. 8722, adopted October 27, 1980, and further approves that certain agreement entitled "Assignment of the Rights and Responsibilities of Parcel Map No. 80-5 Subdivision" by and between the City of Redwood City and Dennis L. Hines and Denise H. Hines, a copy of which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk for full particulars thereof, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 8823
