RESOLUTION NO. 15965 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY TO AMEND THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND <br />SALARY AND WAGE PLAN TO ESTABLISH THE NEW <br />CLASSIFICATION OF BODY WORN CAMERA PROGRAM <br />MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that this classification be established <br />to meet the current and future operational needs for the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification specifications as described in Exhibit "A" were <br />prepared by Human Resources staff in consultation with department management, to <br />ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br />WHEREAS, Human Resources staff conducted salary studies and reached <br />agreement with department management on the recommended salary range as listed in <br />Exhibit "B"; and <br />WHEREAS, the City met and conferred with Redwood City Management <br />Employees Association, and reached agreement on the terms, conditions, and <br />recommended salary ranges as listed in Exhibits "A" and "B", respectively. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2. The City's Classification and Salary Plan shall be amended to establish the <br />classification of Body Worn Camera Program Manager as listed in Exhibits "A" and "B", <br />and as listed in the full salary plan attached as Exhibit "C". <br />3.
