<br />"d .......~ ..t' <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 614 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ALLOTMENT <br />FROM THE STATE FOR PLANS <br /> <br />Municipal Sewage Disposal Project <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The State of California under Chapter 47, Statutes <br />of 1944 (4th Extra Session), has appropriated funds for allotment <br />by the Director of Finance to provide financial assistanoe to <br /> <br />\, <br /> <br />Local Agencies defined therein as counties, cities or cities and <br />counties, for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half <br />the cost of preparing engineering field surveys, engineering or <br />architectural designs, and working and detailed drawings and <br />specifications (hereinafter called IIPlansll) required for postwar <br />public works projects described as "specific projectsll in said <br />Act; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City, hereinafter designated <br />as "Local AgencyU, desires to apply to the Director of Finance <br />and/or the state Allocation Board, as the case may be, for an <br />allotment of the State's share of the estimated cost of preparing <br />the completed plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been pre- <br /> <br />pared and presented to this legislative body for consideration <br /> <br />an application for such purpose; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Local Agency has provided, or will make available <br /> <br /> <br />upon approval of the aforementioned application, sufficient funds <br /> <br /> <br />to prepare the completed plans herein mentioned; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Looal Agency submit <br /> <br /> <br />the aforesaid application to the Director of Finance and/or the <br /> <br /> <br />state Allocation Board, as the case may be, requesting allotment <br /> <br /> <br />of Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-One and 45/100 Dollars <br /> <br /> <br />($9,921.45), being not more than one-half the cost of preparing <br /> <br />said oompleted plans, or for such amount as may be approved by <br /> <br /> <br />the Director of Finance and/or the state Allocation Board (said <br /> <br />-1- <br />
