Chan Zuckerberg Initiative DAF <br /> <br /> <br />August 16, 2022 <br /> <br />Ms. Melissa Stevenson Diaz <br />City Manager <br />City of Redwood City <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063-1993 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Diaz: <br /> <br />Congratulations, City of Redwood City (Grantee) has been accepted to receive a grant of $230,000.00 <br />from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative DAF, an advised fund of Silicon Valley Community Foundation. <br /> <br />This grant is to support the ACE Program, a community-based pilot initiative to foster positive <br />relationships between community leaders, law enforcement, and youth in Redwood City and North Fair <br />Oaks through youth employment, leadership and summer activities. This grant is intended to cover work <br />performed toward this goal from August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023. Please sign, date and return the <br />attached grant agreement to svcfteam@siliconvalleycf.org via DocuSign as soon as possible. Once we <br />receive the signed agreement, we will arrange for payment of the grant according to the schedule <br />outlined in the grant agreement. <br /> <br />Silicon Valley Community Foundation requires reports on the use of the funds, as outlined in the grant <br />agreement.
