ATTY/RESO.0010/CC RESO FY 2024-25 MID YEAR BUDGET AMENDMENT <br />REV: 02-12-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16281 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY A) APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING CERTAIN FUNDS <br />FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES TO CONFORM THE BUDGETED <br />AMOUNTS TO ACTUAL REVENUES OR EXPENDITURES FOR <br />TRANSACTIONS THAT HAVE OCCURRED OR ARE ANTICIPATED TO <br />OCCUR DURING FY 2024-25 AND B) AMENDING THE CITY’S <br />AUTHORIZED FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT EMPLOYEE TABLE IN THE FY <br />2024-25 ADOPTED BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City’s existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, grants and revenue are received during the course of the fiscal year <br />which were not anticipated when the City’s budgets were first approved; and <br />WHEREAS, appropriations need to be established in order for staff to utilize grants <br />and revenues received; and <br />WHEREAS, generally, twice a year Finance staff will present appropriation <br />changes to the City Council for approval; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has presented written documentation, which is attached hereto <br />as Exhibits “A” and “B” which sets forth in particularity the changes in revenues and the <br />changes in expenditures; and <br />WHEREAS, the changes to the Authorized Full-Time Equivalent Employee Table <br />in the FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget, as listed in Exhibit “C”, include: <br />•Adding 1.0 FTE for Communications Manager – C412 (CMO) <br />•Adding 1.0 FTE for Senior Civil Engineer – C310 (ET) <br />•Adding 1.0 FTE for Contract Managerial/Professional Level II – X110 (FIN) <br />•Adding 1.0 FTE for Human Resources Technician – C740 (HR) <br />•Adding 1.0 FTE for Parks, Recreation & Community Services Manager – <br />C400 (PRCS) <br />•Adding 0.5 FTE for Contract Office Clerical level I – X150 (PWS) <br />•Reclassing 1.0 FTE from Management Analyst I – C513 to Management <br />Analyst II C516 (IT) <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety.
