CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Martínez Saballos called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL - Council Members Chu, Gee, Padilla, Sturken, and Mayor Martínez Saballos. Vice <br />Mayor Eakin and Council Member Howard were absent. <br /> <br />Staff Present: City Manager Patrick Heisinger, City Clerk Yessika Castro, Senior Assistant City <br />Attorney Eleonor Ignacio and City Attorney Veronica Ramirez. <br /> <br />3. NOTIFICATION OF MEETING PARTICIPATION BY TELECONFERENCE DUE TO JUST CAUSE <br />PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 54953.8.3 <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />4. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE – Council Member Gee led the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos announced that the agenda items will be taken out of order, <br />beginning with item 7A. <br /> <br />7. STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />7.A. Establishing one Entertainment Zone on the 2000 block of Broadway and the cross- <br />section of Redwood Creek between Broadway and the Main Street Parking Lot <br />(Broadway Pedestrian Mall) consistent with Senate Bill 969 as codified in California <br />Business and Professions Code Section 25692 (600) <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Jennifer Yamaguma gave a presentation. <br />
