R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N N0. 1898 <br />GRANTING VARIANCE TO LAND DEVELOPMENT <br />.AND INVESTMENT COMPANY TO ALLOW 001 <br />FRONT SETBACK, LOTS 4 5 AND 0 6 , BLOCK <br />9, REDWOOD TERRACE 4 001 SIDE SETBACK, <br />LOT 7, BLOCK 10, REDWOOD TERRACE NO. 4 <br />AND 001 FRONT SETBACK., LOTS 6 AND 7, <br />BLOCK 10, REDWOOD TERRACE NO, 4. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Redwood City has <br />submitted the application of LAND DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT <br />COMPANY for variances with the recommendation that such <br />application be granted; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY HEREBY <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Said Council finds the following conditions exist-, <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, build- <br />ing or use referred to in the application, <br />which circumstances or conditions do not <br />generally apply to lands, buildings or uses <br />in the same district, <br />(b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial property rights of the petitioner. <br />(c) That the granting of such application will not <br />materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare, health Or <br />safety of persons residing or working in the <br />neighborhood, <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to LAND DEVELOPMENT AND <br />INVESTMENT COMPANY variances as follows: <br />(a) Variance to allow a 001 front setback on Lots <br />4, 5 and 6. Block 9, Redwood Terrace No. 4 <br />(b) Variance to allow a 001 side yard setback <br />facing on Roosevelt Avenue on Lot 7., Block 10, Redwood Terrace <br />No. 4; q <br />(c) Variance to allow 00 front setback on Lots 6 <br />and 7, Block 10, Redwood Terrace No. 4. <br />subject <br />Said variances are granted/to the condition that all <br />-1- <br />
