RES Q L UTI 0 N N .0. 2143 GRANTING VARIANCE FROM CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE 2'DNING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO L. N. MELEYCO WHEREAS, L. N. Meleyco has made application to the Board of Adjustments of the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City for a variance from the strict application of certain provisions of Ordinance No. 600 (the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City) in accordance with Sections 2.02 and 2.04 of said ordinance; and, WHEREAS, said Board has held at least one public hearing with reference to said application; has recommended that this Council grant said application subject to stated conditions; and has found that the following conditions exist: (a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary circumstances which apply to the land, building or use referred to in the general application, which circumstances or conditions do not generally apply to lands, buildings or uses in the same district. (b) That the granting of the application is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights of the petitioner. , (c) That the granting of such application will not materially affect adversely neighboring property or the public welfare or the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: 1. This Council hereby approves the abovementioned findings of the Board of Adjustments of the Planning Commission and confirms the same. 2. In accordance with Section 2.01 of Ordinance No. 600, this Council does hereby grant to L. N. Meleyco a variance from the strict application of the provisions of said Ordinance, sub- ject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, as follows: Variance from the provisions of Section 8.l(g) to permit a rear yard depth of not less than 5' instead of the required 15' on those certain lots -1-
