P- 2099 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE MULTI-AGENCY <br />MARITIME FACILITY PROJECT AT THE PORT OF REDWOOD <br />CITY; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. P-2088 adopted March 17, 2010, <br /> <br />by the Board of Port Commissioners, the Port Executive Director requested bids <br /> <br />for the Multi-Agency Maritime Facility Project at the Port of Redwood City (the <br /> <br />Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Five (5) bids were received for the performance of said work <br /> <br />and filed with the Port Executive Director; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anderson Pacific Engineering Construction, Inc. of Santa <br /> <br />Clara, California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Board of Port Commissioners to award said bid to Anderson Pacific <br /> <br />Engineering Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Anderson Pacific Engineering Construction, Inc. in the <br /> <br />amount of Two Hundred Seventy Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Ten Dollars <br /> <br />and NO/100 ($278,810.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated May 19, 2010, for the Multi-Agency Maritime Facility Project is hereby <br /> <br />-1 - <br /> <br />Reso166 <br />FXS/fs <br />OS/28/10 <br />
