<br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:em 10/2/70 <br />ORJGIN.AL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 6~t:'Jd <br /> <br />OCT 12 70 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />OBSERVATION DECK AT MUNICIPAL MARINA; REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND, DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6381, adopted <br /> <br />September 14, 1970, the City Clerk called for bids for the <br /> <br />construction of an observation deck at the Municipal Marina <br /> <br />in. the City of Redwood City~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and. <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the performance of said work; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ALANDALE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, Hayward, Calif- <br /> <br />ornia, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to award said bid to said Alandale <br /> <br />Construction Company, to waive any informality in the bid <br /> <br />of the above mentioned low bidder, and to reject any and <br /> <br />all other bids received for said work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of ALANDALE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in the <br /> <br />total lump sum amount of Twenty-four Thousand Four Hundred <br /> <br />Twenty-three and no/lOO Dollars ($24,423.00) in accordance <br /> <br />with bidder's proposal dated September 30, 1970, for bid <br /> <br />schedule "All, for the construction of an observation deck at <br /> <br />the Municipal Marina, in accordance with the p1ans and spec i- <br /> <br />fications therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidd~r is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />
