<br />rf..... <br /> <br />I ~ <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />DES:yc:9/l4/70 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />SEP 14 .~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />~/7J' <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING AND DETE~~INING THAT PROTEST TO <br />THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />OF CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED \I0AK KNOLL MANOR <br />NO. 5 - ANNEXATION" I-LZ\S BEEN MADE BY PRIVATE OWNERS <br />OF MORE THAN ONE-HALF OF THE VALUE OF SAID TERRITORY <br />AS SHOWN UPON THE LAST EQUALIZED ASSESSMENT ROLL; <br />AND TERMINATING PROCEEDINGS FOR SUCH ANNEXATION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of August, 1970, the Council of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 6358 giving <br /> <br />notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon petition <br /> <br />signed by the owners of not less than one-fourth of the land in <br /> <br />the territory proposed to be annexed by area and by assessed <br /> <br />value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo, the annexation to the city of Redwood city <br /> <br />of that certain territory designated as \I0ak Knoll Manor No. 5 <br /> <br />- Annexation~; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council did in said Resolution No. 6358 set <br /> <br />and designate september l4, 1970, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in <br /> <br />the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, <br /> <br />Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, hour <br /> <br />and place when and where said Council would hear protests against <br /> <br />said annexation; and"" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council duly met and convened at said time <br /> <br />and place for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all <br /> <br />protests to said proposed annexation, and has at the hearing in <br /> <br />open public session duly asked for protests, if any, to the <br /> <br />proposed annexation and has given all persons full opportunity <br /> <br />to protest said annexation and has received evidence relevant <br /> <br />to said such annexation; <br />
